Arcadia Flooring have been fortunate to have built a fantastic relationship with our clients in this sector and it is a joy to see the transformation that surgeries have to undergo: changing the flooring in clinical rooms from carpet to cap and cove vinyl to help surgeries meet infection control prevention standards specified by the Department of Health.

 

Communication is absolute key; practice managers, nurses, doctors and even patients are made fully aware of flooring works in and around the medical practices. Even during the pandemic, we were able to carry out works in a pragmatic and safe manner, always minimising disruption to GP services.

During the pandemic Arcadia Flooring were contacted by a new client to carry out new safety floor coverings to a number of vaccination centres in the UK, one being one of the five super vaccination centres in Stevenage: Robertson House.

 

With a deadline and press arriving first thing on Monday morning we needed to install over 800m2 in one weekend. Working under this sort of pressure is another thing we thrive on, no matter how tired our staff are at the end!
